The Valley Youth Conference has been in existence since 1966. We are a non-profit organization devoted to the youth of the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles County. We offer a year-round sports program that includes basketball, pop-warner type tackle tootball, track, cheerleading, and more, for the boys and girls from ages 5 through 14.
Our goal is to provide a safe, healthy environment for the youth to develop in both athletics and citizenship. We encourage scholastic achievement first and foremost, and have awarded thousands of dollars in academic scholarships since 1966 to graduating seniors, both boys and girls, who have participated.
We are 100% volunteer with over 10,000 participants and encompass the entire San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, Los Angeles County, and parts of Westside and Pasadena. Due to escalating cost of insurance, equipment, and fields, which are needed to run a sports program, approximately 500 children were unable to participate this past season. Denying our children the opportunity to participate in our programs has caused the Valley Youth Conference, for the first time in its history, to seek financial support from the business community and residents we serve.
The Valley Youth Conference develops and guides the youth of today into the leaders of tomorrow in business and commerce. Over the past years our members have grown-up, and returned to the Valley Youth Conference as coaches to offer other children the same benefits in life, and a lifetime of rewarding memories and friendship. Over 7,500 families annually participate in all of our programs.
To continue our success we are seeking your help as the economic cost of our programs continues to rise. We are requesting your donations and sponsorships to our programs.
